Short version: we collect information needed to provide EasySplit, operate public store pages, support accounts, secure the service, process integrations, and comply with law.

EasySplit is operated by Educacion Global, Inc., a Delaware corporation ("Educacion Global," "we," "us," or "our"). Contact us at sos@educacion.global.
2. Information we collect
We may collect information you provide, information generated by your use of the services, and information from third parties. This may include:
- Account information, such as Apple Sign in identifiers, name, email address, device identifiers, app version, and authentication status.
- Store information, such as handles, display names, bios, avatars, products, prices, links, public URLs, publish state, and store settings.
- Payment-related information, such as Stripe account identifiers, onboarding status, checkout session identifiers, payment intent identifiers, transaction status, amounts, currency, customer email when provided by Stripe, refunds, disputes, and related metadata.
- Purchase information, such as Creator Pack entitlement status and transaction identifiers used to manage app features.
- Support information, such as messages you send us, screenshots, diagnostic details, and contact information.
- Technical information, such as IP address, browser or device data, logs, timestamps, request paths, security signatures, crash or error details, and fraud-prevention signals.
3. Information on public pages
Store pages are designed to be public. Information you publish to a store page, including your handle, display name, avatar, bio, links, products, prices, and descriptions, may be visible to anyone and may be indexed, saved, shared, or copied by others.
4. How we use information
We use information to provide, maintain, secure, debug, personalize, and improve EasySplit; create and sync stores; display public pages; provide checkout and transaction features; verify accounts and requests; respond to support; detect abuse or fraud; enforce our Terms; comply with law; and protect users, us, and third parties.
5. Payment processors and third parties
Stripe or other payment providers may process payments, onboarding, identity, compliance, fraud, disputes, refunds, payouts, and related data under their own terms and privacy policies. Apple may process Sign in with Apple and in-app purchases under Apple's terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for third-party privacy practices.
6. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to service providers, payment processors, cloud or infrastructure providers, analytics and security providers, Apple, Stripe, professional advisors, law enforcement, regulators, buyers or sellers as needed for transactions, successors in a merger or business transfer, or others when you direct us or when disclosure is needed to operate the service, enforce terms, prevent harm, or comply with law.
7. Legal bases and compliance
Where applicable, we process information based on contract performance, legitimate interests, consent, legal obligations, protection of rights, and other lawful bases. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict, object, port, or appeal certain processing decisions.
8. Cookies and similar technologies
Our websites and public pages may use cookies, local storage, logs, or similar technologies to operate the site, remember state, prevent abuse, improve performance, and understand usage. Browser settings may allow you to limit certain technologies, but parts of the service may not work correctly without them.
9. Data retention
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the services, maintain records, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, comply with law, prevent fraud, support security, and operate our business. We may retain backups, logs, transaction records, and compliance records after an account or store is deleted when legally or operationally necessary.
10. Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for securing your devices, Apple account, Stripe account, and other connected services.
11. Children
EasySplit is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child provided information to us, contact us so we can take appropriate steps.
12. International use
We may process and store information in the United States and other locations where we or our providers operate. Laws in those locations may differ from the laws where you live.
13. Your choices
You may update store information in the app, stop using the services, request account deletion where available, or contact us for privacy requests. We may need to verify your request and may deny or limit requests where permitted by law, including for security, fraud prevention, legal compliance, transaction records, or legitimate business needs.
14. Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The updated version will be effective when posted unless a different date is stated. Continued use of EasySplit after changes means you acknowledge the updated policy.
